For our perishable and heat sensitive products, there is an additional fee to cover the cost of the extra packaging which ensures your order arrives in the best condition. Even when it is not hot at your home address the UPS trucks and warehouses are warm. This $7 fee covers the cost of a thermal pouch and ice packs which are used to keep your order cool in all temperatures. The ice packs are reusable. This charge is in addition to the regular shipping rates and is charged one per order containing cold shipping items. Please note that chocolate items only need the cold shipping seasonally.

We are now sending out eligible packages in a Styrofoam shipper to better serve your cold shipping needs. When possible we are including a pre-paid return address label to be send back the Styrofoam shipper and the ice packs as part of a reduce and reuse program. We encourage you to either reuse the Styrofoam boxes for your own purposes or return it to us to help reduce the impact on the environment!
